Hi eddy...
I keep cruising through your gallery looking for Gold 1100's but don't
see many,
so I'm inclined to send ya a picture of mine. I was gonna weight to
do this, til I
dressed it up a bit more, but due to the chroming problems yamaha is
having with the 1100
parts, I've decided to do it now.
I've had my 1999 1100 for about 2 months now. My wife and I decided
that she
didn't want any more children, so I made the decision if that chapter
of my life was
closed, then it was time to open a new one. And Wa-la. One of my riding
buddies even came up
with the perfect nickname for my 1100 which I affectionately refer
to as "The Kid" appropriately
enough.
I've enjoyed your website immensely. I've studded my seat per your
instructions, and
it turned out so well, that I've studded a buddy's Vulcan and anothers
Harley.
Who knows..this could turn out to be a side business.....to help pay
for parts.... :-)
My riding buddies give me a hard time, cuz I've told them I want to
use your
how-to tip to lower the bike, and they cringe when I tell them I want
to drill through the
frame. Course, these guys are a little faint of heart, after all ,
they aren't driving
V-stars...
Well...Thanks for an outstanding gathering place for V-Star enthusiasts.
I look
forward to every visit.
Attached you should find a picture of my 1100 that I hope you'll have
no problem posting.
In closing, I say to you eddy, Great work, buddy!! and to all those
that may see my
bike and read this, HURRY UP and send Fasteddy your picture and stats.
Ride safe and ride often.
