is ISRA member #270, and
lives on the shores of Lake Michigan in a town called Holland
(famous for the Tulip Festival in May)
Nels wrote: "I am member #270 in the ISRA,
and may be better known as Senior Swim
(which came about because my member name for the delphi forum is
"sin or swim"  the name I am reserving for my first boat.  However in the
forum it gets condensed to "sinorswim"
which sounds Spanish, so what
the hell, I'll go with it)"

Nels said that there are
great areas to ride around there as well as lake front tourist towns
such as Saugatuck and Grand Haven that hop in the summer, great places
to hang out and show the bike off.  He traded in his '96 Honda Shadow
VLX for this Black '98 Classic in April after deciding to get married
in September.  He figured that he had better upgrade to the bike he
wanted while he still had a chance.  Best decision he ever made! The
following are modifications he has made since then:
-Maxxis white wall tires
     -studded tank bib
     -added studs to stock seat
-removed passenger pillion and added rear fender solo rack
     -removed rear passenger pegs
     -chrome license plate frame
     -chrome master cylinder cover
     -oval rider footpegs
     -billet handlebar clamp
     -billet drive shaft cover
     -remove reflectors

Updates

     Additional modifications since
the last time Nels sent me photos include:

     -White Bros. beach bars
-Cobra drag pipes with HP Plus baffles
     -Barrons' engine guards
     -Custom Chrome floorboards
-Yamaha passing lamps with clear sealed beam lamps
     -lowered rear end 3"
-removed pinstripes from front and rear fenders

I love this bike....you have really got it looking great........

Please keep sending me your pics....
I hope you will share your beautiful bike with the world...
