"I also removed the horn from the front, bought
a chrome H-D cover and
mounted it on the left side of the engine between
the two cylinders, it
looks great and gives more of a vintage look.
I was going to buy some new pipes so I figured
I would gut the stockers. I
started by just removing the cones and drilling
four holes. I rode like
that for awhile, then I drilled four more holes
and enlarged them all to @
1/2". I did the final "gutting" and
it sounds great, I don't plan on
buying new pipes now. "
