I met Dan last summer when I attended the ISRA Event in Bend, Oregon. 
He is one of those people that you just like imediately, 
he not only has a great bike, but a great car as well. 
Dan and I tlked for hours the night of the BBQ in the park,
while knocking back cold brews,
he told me of his plans to spend New Years Eve in Maui and 
would have a drink for me when he made it down to Cheeseburger In Paradise.
True to his word, Dan, had a burger and a MAI-tai and thought about our "Ride To Bend", 
before the fireworks started.
 Dan took a rented `99 80in. softail Harley for a ride New Year's Day
to the summit of  Haliakala the volcano.
