Babs wrote: I wrote in your guestbook a while ago that I was about to get a Classic - well I did but then decided to trade it in for a black Custom!! So my boyfriend Steve and I have a Custom each. I have added quite a few bits already to mine but he is holding off because he is planning to get the 1100 next year. So far I have added a Silvertail exhaust, chrome horn, engine bars, footboards, small indicators and am waiting for my saddle to be recovered in leather and studs. I wish someone would make a rear fender rack for the Custom to go in place of the rear seat - can't find one any where! Yamaha does a nice one but only for the Classic. Well I hope you've had some good riding this summer - I wish we could've joined you in Oregon - we came out last year to see Stevie Nicks at the Gorge and we just wanted to stay - it was so beautiful...... I hope the pix come through OK - Steve's is the orange one, mine's the black and thanx again for such a superb site!! Best wishes - Babs and Steve (Taunton UK).
